Dr. Keri Nunn-Ellison, EdD, MSN/Ed, RN, CNE

Dr. Keri Nunn-Ellison is Senior Director at the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). She contributes to ACEN’s global accreditation processes, overseeing the volunteer services staff, developing evidence-informed resources that support consistent interpretation of the ACEN Standards and Criteria, and representing the ACEN through national and international presentations, publications, and collaborative initiatives.

Professional Background

Before joining ACEN in 2016, she held multiple leadership roles at Sinclair Community College focused on curriculum, faculty development, and program evaluation.

Scholarly Contributions & Service

Dr. Nunn-Ellison has coauthored multiple publications on accreditation and quality improvement, served as an ACEN peer evaluator and team chair, and contributed to the Ohio Board of Nursing’s Education Advisory Board.

She is active in the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) International Quality Group.
